    How do I book a day trip?

    You can book directly through our website via the TryBooking portal. Phone bookings are not available.

    Do trips sell out?

    Yes — because our groups are small, popular dates can fill quickly. Booking early is recommended.

    Can I join a waitlist if a trip is full?

    Yes. If a spot becomes available, we’ll contact people on the waitlist in order.

    What’s included in the price?

    Each day trip includes:

    • Comfortable transport in our 11 or 21‑seat vehicle.

    • A friendly, accredited driver.

    • Complimentary bottled water.

    • All itinerary planning and coordination.

    Complimentary morning tea/coffee and cakes/biscuits on most trips.

    Some trips also include entry fees or special experiences — these will be clearly listed.


    What’s not included?

    Meals and entry fees to any attractions are not included. We choose excellent locations with local cafés, pubs, restaurants or bakeries, for lunch stops, and you’re free to choose what you prefer.

    Bringing your own lunch with you is yet another great option.

  • Where do you depart from?

    Main departure spots are Federation Square CBD, corner of Russell & Flinder's Street. Footscray Station, corner of Bunbury & Hyde Streets. On some trips we also pick up from St. Kilda and Hoppers Crossing.

  • What time do trips start and finish?

    Most day trips run between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, depending on the destination. Exact times are listed for each trip.

  • Is there much walking?

    Our trips are designed to be gentle and accessible. Walking is optional and at your own pace.

    Can I bring a walking frame or mobility aid?

    Yes — we can safely store small mobility aids. Please let us know when booking so we can plan space.

  • 🌦️ Weather & Safety.

    What happens if the weather is bad?

    We operate in most weather conditions, but we may adjust the itinerary for comfort and safety. If extreme weather affects the trip, eg: rain all day, we’ll contact you with options (usually the trip is cancelled and a full refund given).

    Are your trips safe for older travellers?

    Yes. We specialise in relaxed, comfortable travel with plenty of rest stops, easy pacing, and a friendly, supportive environment. You can always ask the driver for an extra toilet stop if needed.

  • Refunds. What is your cancellation policy?

    Our cancellation policy is fair and transparent. Full details are shown during booking, but generally:

    • Cancellations made well in advance receive a full refund.

    • Late cancellations may incur a small fee due to limited seating and preparation costs, eg: a day before departure.

    (No show on the day=No refund).


    Can I transfer my booking to another date?

    Yes — if there’s space available, we’re happy to move your booking. If it's to a different destination from original then we give you a full refund and you can make a new booking at your leisure.
